Asante Kotoko have confirmed Abu Dhabi-based UAE third-tier side Liwa Football Club as their next pre-season friendly opponents.
The two sides will test their strengths at Shababal Ahli Stadium in Dubai on Sunday, October 17.
The friendly will be the Porcupine Warriors’ second since setting up a training camp in the Emirati.
Kotoko lost the first game 1-0 to Al Hilal United courtesy of an own goal by right-back Christopher Nettey.
Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum had only 17 players at his disposal for the first game and will be expecting to have more recover from various knocks for the Liwa game.
Asante Kotoko will have a final preparatory game on Wednesday, October 20 before wrapping up their two-week training camp
Sunday’s game, meanwhile, is scheduled for 16:00 GMT kickoff.
