Inter Allies hire Mohammed Bashar Ogba as new head coach

Inter Allies have engaged the services of Mohammed Bashar Ogba to lead the club as head coach for the 2021/22 season.

The Caf License A holder has been hired to lead the club’s quest for a quick promotion from Division One to the Ghana Premier League after suffering relegation last season.

“We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mohammed Bashar Ogba as our new head coach on a one-year contract.

“Coach Ogba arrives following a two-year stint in Niger, where he managed two elite Clubs, AS Sonidep and Sahel Sporting Club.

“He will take charge of the senior team and guide the youth team as well with immediate effect as the club enters the first phase of pre-season,” portions of a club statement read.

Inter Allies Vice-President Delali Eric Senaye said: “We are delighted that Coach Ogba has joined us, we are all committed to ensuring that he and the team are a success.”

Coach Ogba has rich experience in the Ghanaian second-tier, having previously been in charge of clubs like Accra City Stars, Zaytuna FC, Sporting Mirren, Danbort FC as well as Steadfast FC – a side he guided to Division One in 2014.
