2022 WCQ: Black Stars boss Milo reveals selection dilemma for Zimbabwe clash

After four days of preparations, Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has admitted choosing his final squad to face Zimbabwe on Saturday will come with some difficulty.

The Black Stars host the Warriors in a 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifying Group G match-day 3 tie at Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

In what will be Milovan’s first game since returning as Black Stars coach, he has indicated selecting his starting eleven for the crunch encounter won’t be easy.

“I have faith in my players and of course it will not be an easy decision.

“Before the match, I always have so many things in my mind that I think about,” he said at a pre-match press conference.

The Serbian added: “I will definitely make a decision before the match about the starting eleven.

“But we all play as a team and every player is aware of their contribution to the team is important.

“They know they have to deliver and we function as a team so before the game, I will definitely make my final decision.”

Kickoff for the game is at 16:00 GMT.

Ghana will be seeking to get back to winning ways following the 1-0 defeat to South Africa in the second Group G game last month.

The Black Stars, who began the World Cup qualifying campaign with a 1-0 win over Ethiopia on match-day one, sit second in the group with three points. The Zimbabweans are bottom of the group.
