Ghana referee, Daniel Nii Ayi Laryea has been handed the 2021/22 Caf Champions League group stage qualifying first-leg between Union Sportive de la Gendarmerie Nationale of Niger and record winners Al Ahly club of Egypt.
The match is scheduled for Stade Général Seyni Kountché in Niger on Friday, October 15.
It will be back-to-back continental assignments for the 34-year-old who will be in Algeria the preceding week to officiate 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifying match-day 3 fixture between the African champions and Niger on October 8.
Laryea is expected to head to Nigerien capital Niamey with his regular Ghanaian assistants Kwasi Acheampong Brobbey (Line 1) and Paul Kodzo Atimaka (Line 2)
