Golden Kick SC youngster, Mizak Asante dominated the post-match talk of Sunday’s Greater Accra Division Two playoffs final at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The 15-year-old playmaker/attacking midfielder came off the bench to inspire his side to Division One League promotion with an incredible late equalizing goal against Mobile People FC.
Asante controlled the ball inside the box with his left football, rotated 360 degrees in front of two defenders to wriggle his way out and then nutmegged another player to hit the byline before shimmying the goalkeeper with a sharp right and left footwork.
The 2019 Ghana U-15 national team player then slotted the ball past the near post to cap a virtuoso display.
Asante’s goal forced the game into penalty shootouts with Golden Kick going on to win 7-6.
Golden Kick have qualified to feature in Zone Three of the Division One League next season.
