Ghana captain Andre Ayew scored for the successive game as Al Sadd secured a 4-2 win on the road at Al Rayyan in the Qatar Stars League Wednesday.
The 31-year-old forward registered the third goal for Xavi Hernandes’ side in the match-day 3 fixture.
Champions Al Sadd exerted their supremacy early by scoring thrice without reply by the 24th minute.
Hassan Al-Haydos and Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah scored in the 4th and 21st minutes respectively.
Three minutes on, Ayew took his turn. He started a move by dispossessing an opposition player before going on to finish off brilliantly after being picked out by Bounedjah. Watch.

It’s the second consecutive game in which the Black Stars skipper has scored for Al Sadd in three matches of the Qatari Stars League.
Ayew got his first goal last weekend with a superb finish against Qatar Sports Club.
The former Swansea star is hitting top form at a crucial time ahead of Ghana’s 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifying doubleheader against Zimbabwe next month.
