Hasaacas Ladies trainer, Yusif Basigi says clinching three trophies in a single season has raised his standard as a coach and will go a long way to help him.
The former Black Princesses boss completed a season’s treble following his side’s win over Rivers Angels FC in the finals of the Caf Women’s Champions League Wafu Zone B qualifying tournament recently held in Cote d’Ivoire.
Speaking to Footy-Ghana.com, Basigi said the feat will improve his CV and also put pressure on him to maintain some level of standards in his coaching career going forward.
“Winning treble means a lot to me, it will go a long way to enrich my CV.
“I have to ensure that I do a lot of hard work in other to improve where I have gotten to because Ghanaians and people all over the world will be looking up to me, to see the height I will get to.
“So it’s a morale booster for me to work hard and achieve higher heights,” he stated.
Hasaacas Ladies defeated Ampem Darkoaa in two finals – the champion of champion for the 2020/21 Women’s Premier League title and the Women’s FA Cup before adding the Women’s Wafu Zone B Champions League tournament to complete the treble.
The Doo ladies will represent Ghana in the maiden Caf Women’s Champions League competition scheduled for Egypt later in the year.
