Kamaldeen Sulemana scores on Ligue 1 debut for Rennais

Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana scored on his league debut appearance for new club Stade Rennais Sunday morning.

The Red and Blacks opened their 2021/22 French Ligue 1 season at home to RC Lens.

Kamaldeen was handed a start by head coach Bruno Génésio and it took him only 14 minutes to settle in and open his goal account in the French top-tier league.

The youngster’s goal lasted for only five minutes as Ivorian International Seko Fofana equalized for RC Lens.

Kamaldeen enjoyed 58 minutes of the game before making way for Ghanaian-born Belgian international Jeremy Doku.

The game ended 1-1 at Roazhon Park.

Kamaldeen Sulemana joined Rennes this summer from Danish side FC Nordsjælland.
