Ghana’s sole representatives, Hearts of Oak have been. pitted against Guinean side Club Industriel de Kamsar in the first preliminary round of the 2021/22 Caf Champions League.
The Phobians will face off with the West African neighbours over two legs this September.
Kamsar – who only signed former Asante Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong just days ago, will host the first leg on the weekend of September 10-12 before travelling to face Hearts at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 19.
The aggregate winner of this tie advances to the second preliminary round to battle Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca for a spot in the group stages of the Caf Champions League.

CI Kamsar finished second in the 2020/21 Guinée Championnat National behind winners Horoya AC while Hearts won the Ghana Premier League title after a 12-year lull.
Hearts of Oak are previous winners of the Caf Champions League. They won the year 2000 edition.
