2020/21 GPL: Boadu, Dadzie and Barreto up for June Coach of the Month award

Title-winning Samuel Boadu leads the pack of three trainers shortlisted for the Ghana Premier League NASCO coach for the month award for June.

The Hearts of Oak gaffer will be looking to be the first to win the award back-to-back in the 2020/21 league campaign after bagging the accolade for May.

Ebusua Dwarfs’ James Kuuku Dadzie, and Mariano Barreto of Asante Kotoko are the other nominated coaches.

Boadu led the Phobians to three wins over Legon Cities, Asante Kotoko and former side Medeama SC, while drawing once against Great Olympics in June.

Dadzie guided relegated Dwarfs to victories against Aduana Stars, Inter Allies, and Karela United and a defeat to AshantiGold.

Portuguese Barreto also picked wins against AshantiGold, Inter Allies, and Karela United before Kotoko lost to Hearts of Oak in the month under consideration.

The winner of the coach of the month will take home a 43’ inch NASCO Television set and a plaque from the sponsors NASCO Electronics.
