Yeni Malatyaspor confident Benjamin Tetteh will accept permanent offer

Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor are keen on signing Ghana’s Benjamin Tetteh on a permanent deal.

The striker spent the 2020/21 season on loan at the New Malatya Stadium outfit from Sparta Prague.

Tetteh, 23, managed five goals while notching four assists as the side finished 15th in the Turkish Super Lig.

Malatyaspor have since made moves to permanently sign the former Dreams FC frontman and are confident of having him on board in the coming season despite links to other clubs.

“We made our offer to Benjamin Tetteh. I believe that Tetteh will stay in Yeni Malatyaspor.

“We want to get Benjamin Tetteh on his testimonial, not on loan. Good news will come in days,” club spokesperson Hakkı Çelikel is quoted as saying in the Turkish media.

Benjamin Tetteh previously played for Standard Liege in Belgium and Bohemians in Slovakia.
