#FootyTransfers: Prince Ampem joins HNK Rijeka for three years with option

Former WAFA SC attacker, Prince Ampem has secured a transfer from HNK Sibenik to Rijeka in the Croatian topflight.

The wing forward combined 19 goals in 96 appearances ffor Sibenik since arriving from the Ghana Premier League club in January 2018.

Ampem now takes up a new challenge with Rijeka who finished third in the recently-ended 2020/21 HNL campaign.

The 23-year-old was unveiled on Wednesday after signing a three-year contract that can be extended to a fourth if the Stadion Rujevica outfit wishes.

“I have to be honest and say that Rijeka is a beautiful city, but also a great club.

“I checked some things before coming here and I have to say everything looks very good,” Ampem said at his presentation.
