Asante Kotoko fought back to secure a 1-1 draw away to Liberty Professionals on match-day 25 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League Sunday.
Evans Owusu, a former defender of the Porcupine Warriors, put the hosts in front with a fine strike from distance in the 36th minute of the game at Sogakope Park.
Kotoko chased the equalizer and had to be patient until the 82nd minute when centre-back Abdul Ganiyu Ismail found himself free inside the Liberty penalty area to head home a free-kick from the left by Imoro Ibrahim.
The 1-1 draw ensures Kotoko maintain top spot with 45 points. Liberty are on 26 points after 25 matches.
