Asante Kotoko scored four past Bechem United without reply in their 2020/21 Ghana Premier League (GPL) match-day 16 outstanding fixture at Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi on Wednesday.
Led by new boss Mariano Barreto in the dugout for the first time, the Porcupine Warriors scored twice in either half through Ismail Ganiyu, Fabio Gama as well as new boys Andy Kumi Francis and Michael Vinicius.
The heavy victory – a rare one – sends Kotoko to third position with 31 points – two off leaders Great Olympics and one point behind Karela United who are in second place after 18 matches.
