WATCH HIGHLIGHTS: Kotoko 1-2 Medeama

Medeama SC travelled to beat Asante Kotoko for the second time in their Ghana Premier League (GPL) history Saturday afternoon.

The Mauve and Yellow had to come from behind to record the impressive victory at the Len Clay Stadium in a 2020/21 GPL match-day fixture.

The only time Medeama had chalked that feat was on September 5, 2010, when they defeated the Porcupine Warriors 1-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

This time, the team from Tarkwa won 2-1 with all goals coming through in the first half.

Kotoko took a 13th-minute lead through skipper Emmanuel Gyamfi.

But they were pegged back by a Prince Opoku Agyemang equalizer on the half-hour mark.

Midfielder Richard Boadu scored what turned out the match-winner in fist half added time.
