King Faisal claimed all the points with a 1-0 away win in their battle against relegation with bottom club Inter Allies on match-day 21 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League (GPL) Sunday afternoon.
Heading to Dawu, the Insha Allah boys were without a win in their last four games.
But a Zubairu Ibrahim strike, after feeding on a pass from Kwame Peprah in the 15th minute, was enough to stop the unwanted run.
Inter Allies huffed and puffed in the chase for the equalizer but Faisal stayed resolute to record their first away win this campaign and also a first under new boss Kasim Gökyildiz.
King Faisal, despite the win, remain second from the bottom of the standings but open the gap with basement club Inter Allies to six points after 21 matches.
