Dreams FC slipped to a first defeat under coach Vladislav Viric after they were beaten 1-0 at Berekum Chelsea in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League (GPL) on Sunday afternoon.
The Believers had gone eight games unbeaten and were hoping for the night at the Golden City Park in Berekum on match-day 15.
But a first-half strike from Paul Attah Agyei ended that superb run – handing them a first defeat since their last time at home to Asante Kotoko on December 20, 2020.
Attah Agyei was a beneficiary of a lapse in midfield and the striker made the visitors pay by scoring in the 27th minute – his fourth goal of the campaign.
The solitary goal remained the difference as Berekum Chelsea held on to record back-to-back wins for the first time this campaign. They beat Eleven Wonders 2-0 in their previous fixture.
The Bibires now climb three places to 10th in the league standings with 20 points – just three adrift Dreams who remain in third position.
