A stoppage-time goal from substitute Prince Okraku moved Eleven Wonders 13th after 10 matches in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League with a 1-0 victory over King Faisal Sunday.
The game, dubbed ‘Landlords vs Tenants’ at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman, was heading for a barren draw as the two sides evened out for 93 minutes before Okraku’s headed effort found the back of the net.
A corner kick effected by Salifu, from the right-wing, eluded everybody at near-post only for the ball to find an unmarked Okraku to coolly head past keeper Adams Abdul Jabal in the match-winning goal.
Prince Okraku’s latest goal is his third off the bench in the ongoing campaign.
Eleven Wonders climb to 12 with 13 points while King Faisal move bottom of the log on 7 after 10 games.
