Super-sub Boah nets late brace as Dreams beat Dwarfs

Teen sensation Percious Boah came off the bench to score a late brace for Dreams FC to clinch a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Ebusua Dwarfs on match-day 8 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League Sunday.

Dwarfs proved difficult to break down by the ‘Still Believe’ side who welcomed fans at the Theatre of Dreams,  Dawu for the first time this season since  the outbreak COVID-19.

Dreams persisted with their pressure until they found an opening 11 minutes from time through a free-kick.

Boah, who had come on for Agyenim Boateng Mensah on the hour mark, was presented an opportunity to showcase his expertise after Joseph Esso was fouled on the edge of the Dwarfs box.

And the Ghana U-20 striker just did the business by striking straight into the net on 79 minutes.

A minute from time, Boah was on hand to tuck home from a rebound to register his brace and end the game 2-0 for Dreams – their second win this campaign.

Dwarfs goalkeeper Razak Issah nearly pulled one back during stoppage time when the visitors had a similar free- kick to the opening goal but he was denied by his opposite number  Solomon Agbasi in post for Dreams.

The precious three points from Percious’ two goals sees Dreams FC climb from 16th to 14th on the league log. with 9 points. Dwarfs follow with a point behind.
