Real Mallorca back for Dauda Mohammed transfer

Real Mallorca are back on the heels of Ghana striker Dauda Mohammed in the winter transfer window.

The Spanish second-tier side, last summer, failed in their bid to sign the 22-year-old who has been a target of the club for some time now.

Dauda, who can play across the attacking positions, is on the books of Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht but has been relegated to the side’s youth team this season after returning from a loan spell in Denmark. He had enjoyed a season-long stint at Esbjerg fB and scored 5 goals in 26 games.

In the 2020/21 campaign, Dauda has made the Anderlecht senior squad just five times, coming on as a substitute in four games – vs Zulte Waregem, KRC Genk, Beerschot V.A and OH Leuven just last weekend.

According to reports in Spain, Mallorca have already moved for Dauda and are negotiating the signing of the former Asante Kotoko player.

Dauda Mohammed joined Anderlecht from Asante Kotoko in 2017 at the age of 18 and first played on loan for Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem before the Esbjerg fB outing.
