Aduana Stars risk losing coach Fabin

Aduana Stars might not have head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin if the team’s top hierarchy fails to fix some internal matters derailing their success this season.

Delays in player contracts extension, per Footy-Ghana sources, is the main problem bothering the gaffer.

Caleb Amankwah’s contract ended this month and the club has not renewed despite the coach making known his desire to keep the defender.

Elsewhere, reports in Accra claim the former WAFA SC defender is close to joining Legon Cities for the second round of the league.

Other top players including Farouk Adams are yet to extend their stay at the club due to financial constraints Aduana currently faces. Left-back Justice Anane has already left.

The need to beef up the squad urged Fabin to even conduct trials for new players to join the team but again, lack of funds reared its head.

Fabin joined the Fire Boys in February 2020 on a one-year deal and that means his agreement with the club ends next month.

Currently in the Ghana Premier League, the giants are placed 9th with 10 points after 8 games.
