Aduana held to 2-2 draw by 10-man Dwarfs at Dormaa

Ebusua Dwarfs held Aduana Stars to a 2-2 draw at the Nana Agyeman Badu (NAB) I Stadium on Sunday.

The 2020/21 Ghana Premier League match-day eleven fixture looked like a win for Aduana but they failed to hold on to their 2-1 lead.

The first half saw Dwarfs striking first on the score sheet through Isaac Kwain’s own goal in the 22nd minute.

Aduana got the leveller late in the first half when talisman Yahaya Mohammed struck from the penalty spot on injury time. His sixth for the season.

The home side continued their dominance in play after the break and netted again to be in the lead.

It was then Dwarfs turn to get the equalizer and that was a herculean task at a difficult ground like Dormaa.

But they made it happen on the 81st minute through Moro Sumaila.

Dwarfs played with ten men from the 88th minute when Sumaila received a red card.

Aduana are sixth on the league log while Dwarfs lie 13th also.

The Crabs will hope to claim their fourth win of the league season when they face Ashantigold in Cape Coast.

Aduana Stars will also be guests to Liberty Professionals on match-day twelve.
