24 players to open Black Satellites preps for U-20 Afcon

Black Satellites coach, Karim Zito has named 24 players to start preparations for Ghana’s participation in the 2021 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon).

The continental youth Championship is scheduled for Mauritania from Sunday, February 14 to Saturday, March 6, 2021.

Ghana qualified for the Afcon after emerging champions of Wafu Zone-B in December 2020. The Black Satellites defeated Burkina Faso 2-1 in the final of the qualifying tournament hosted by Benin.

The players invited by coach Zito are to report to camp at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram on Saturday, January 16, 2021.
