Ghana will battle Niger in the first semifinal game of the 2020 Wafu-B Under-20 Cup of Nations currently underway in Benin on Tuesday, December 15.
The match serves two crucial purposes – as a determiner for who qualifies for next year’s U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) and as well the grand finale of the 7-nation zonal competition.
The Black Satellites finished second in Group B to set up the date with the Nigeriens who topped Group A.
The Ghana-Niger clash is scheduled for 14:30 GMT at Stade Charles de Gaule in Porto-Novo.
The second semifinal – between Cote d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso – follows at 18:00 GMT at the same venue.
The finalists will represent West Africa Zone-B at the U-20 Afcon to be staged by Mauritania in 2021.
