Leave of no return? Fred Moore granted two months break from Hearts duties

After recently being away from duties on sick leave, Frederick Moore – the Managing Director for local giants Hearts of Oak is set to embark on an annual leaving beginning December 1, Footy-Ghana.com understands.

This is in sharp contrast to reports that Moore had ended his association with the Phobians after a year-and-a-half. He took over from American Mark Noonan in March 2019.

According to our sources, Moore, who has been away for almost a month and is resuming on Monday, November 30, wrote to the Phobians’ board seeking to take up his annual leave of two months.

He has been granted the leave effective the start of December 2020 – Tuesday.

Frederick Moore is thus expected to return to duty at the start of February 2021.

However, grapevine sources indicate he could take a decision on his future with Hearts of Oak before the time.

Aside their off-field issues, Hearts have not enjoyed a rosy start to the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League. Coach Edward Odoom’s side drew 2-2 at home with AshantiGold and then lost 1-0 to Inter Allies on Sunday. They have an outstanding season opener away to defending champions Aduana Stars.
