2020/21 GPL: Underrate Olympics at your own peril – Annor Walker warns Medeama

Great Olympics coach, Annor Walker has warned Medeama SC not to consider them underdogs in their 2020/21 Ghana Premier League opener.

The two-time league winners travel as guest of the Mauve and Yellows at Akoon Park on Sunday.

Olympics have an arduous task of getting a result from Tarkwa and coach Walker says:

“Since I started recruiting these boys and playing the pre-season matches, they have been doing well.

“It is just unfortunate we lost to Dreams FC last Thursday but for now, we are doing good.

“In my first game against Medeama at away, at least I must take a point to Accra.

“Medeama is a good club but it is my wish that I pick a point there,” Annor Walker told Adamu Muftawu.

“I am not saying I am going to beat Medeama because it will mean I’m bragging but I believe I will pick a point.

“But if they should underrate me, I will surprise them,” he added.

Great Olympics defeated Liberty Professionals 2-1 in their final pre-season game at the Carl Reindorf Park last Sunday.
