Medeama SC midfielder, Kwasi Donsu says they have a target of winning their first five matches in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
The two-time FA Cup champions have been unlucky for some time with the domestic league eluding them in the last three seasons.
“We have won the FA Cup on two occasions but it is the Premier League we want to win now.
“The target has not changed at all and we the playing body are working hard towards achieving that feat.
“I’m working hard as you know, on my set pieces so that when the league starts, all those who know my quality will attest to that next season.
“We will not drop a single point in our first five matches. We are not into next season to lose our first five matches.
“If you want to win the league, your first match and the subsequent four, you need not lose them. Our worse result will be a draw,” he told German-based Topical Radio.
Medeama SC have made six interesting signings for the upcoming season with some notable names being winger, Kwadwo Asamoah and former Kotoko left-back Patrick Yeboah.
They have Justice Blay who returned from his loan Kototo loan spell to solidly their midfield.
The Mauve and Yellows will open the season with a home clash against Great Olympics on November 14.
