Opoku Agyemang lands in South Africa for Cape Town City loan spell

Medeama SC striker Prince Opoku Agyemang has arrived in South Africa to begin his loan spell with Premier Soccer League side Cape Town City FC.

The two clubs reportedly reached a $100,000 loan agreement over the goal-scoring machine for the 2020/21 season back in April this year.

On Thursday, October 15, Opoku Agyemang finally arrived in South Africa to complete a mandatory medical and other formalities before joining his new teammates in training.

Before the suspension of football around the world due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the 28-year-old had scored 11 goals in 13 matches for the Mauve and Yellows. He also provided three assists in the process.

Prince Opoku Agyemang only joined Medeama at the beginning of the 2019/20 season from New Edubiase United FC and became an instant hit in the Ghana Premier League.
