My brother told me Inter Allies is the best for me – Michael Kporvi reveals

New signing Michael Kporvi is left with much joy after heeding his brother’s advice to sign for Inter Allies.

The former Africa Sports and Al-Merreikh striker, who completed his move to the Capelli Boys on Friday evening, says he feels good to join the team.

“I’m happy to be here, I feel good to be part of the club. I’m happy to be part of this wonderful family.

“I’ve always enjoyed watching the team play when they played their home games in Tema. I used to watch a lot of good football anytime they play,” he told Allies media – the club’s official mouthpiece.

Michael’s brother Uriah – an ex-Inter Allies defender – played a role in this move, the 25-year-old revealed.

“My brother told me Allies is the best place for me to develop and continue my career. He loves the club so much and told me I’d enjoy the same. Honestly, I believe him.”

On his expectations for the season, he made it clear that he wants to leave a mark and write his name in gold in the Allies colours.

“My expectation is to help the club achieve its goals for the season and also be one of the best in the club.”

Michael Kporvi is not new to the Ghana Premier League, having played 10 times for Tema Youth during the 2016/17 season and scored 5 goals.
