Ghana Premier League (GPL) side, Liberty Professionals have been busy on the local transfer scene today having added six new lads to their squad.
Coach David Ocloo’s team have included a blend of experience and youthful talent as they gear up for the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
Six new players – Vision FC duo Maxwell Ansah and Emmanuel Paga, centre-back Ben Nash Quansah (Dreams FC) and Razak Boame from Bechem United have been rooped in by the Dansoman-based club.
The other two recruits for the Scientific Soccer Lads are Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School graduate Seedorf Asante Afful and Daniel Amissah, who was the first-choice goalkeeper of Liberty’s academy side.
Upfront, Paga’s addition to the team brings confidence. The forward replaces Elvis Kyei Baffour who ended the cancelled 2019/20 league campaign as Liberty’s top scorer.
Baffour is enduring a fresh start to lofe at Tunisian side US Soliman.
At Vision FC, Paga netted 9 times from 11 appearances in the Division One League.
Liberty Professionals will face Bechem United in their first league game this season.
