Benjamin Boateng in no hurry to switch club

Elmina Sharks forward, Benjamin Bernard Boateng says he is not in a hurry to switch club.

The 20-year-old has been linked to Hearts of Oak who want to strengthen their attack for the upcoming season.

But Boateng says he is focused on building a profile with Elmina Sharks before considering a better offer.

“I have heard a lot about my links to clubs abroad and here in Ghana.

“However, I am a footballer and that does not worry so much.

“ I’m focused on the game and ready for any good deal my agency brings on the table.

“I’m not in a rush to move out of Ghana because I know my manager, agency and my club Elmina Sharks will come up with a good offer,” he told Adamu Muftawu.

The 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season will start on the weekend of November 13-16 following the release of fixtures by the Ghana Football Association.

Boateng scored 7 goals in 15 outings for Elmina Sharks last season before the league was cancelled due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country.
