Benjamin Boateng: Hearts show interest in Elmina Sharks forward

Hearts of Oak have reportedly shown interest in enterprising Benjamin Bernard Boateng of Elmina Sharks.

The lanky forward was pivotal in Sharks splendid outing in the cancelled 2019/20 Ghana Premier League where he scored 7 goals in 15 appearances.

Boateng has courted a lot of interest from clubs in Ghana and abroad following his breathtaking display.

Hearts of Oak want to augment their attacking machinery following the exit of strikers, Joseph Esso, Bernard Arthur and Kofi Kordzi.

Inside sources close to Footy-Ghana.com indicates that contacts have been made to the player’s manager for his service for the 2020/21 league season with the registration window set to close on October 30.

The 2000 Caf Champions League winners have in their fold Abednego Tetteh and Danjumah Kuti as the strikers for next season.

Hearts of Oak have won the Ghana Premier League 20 times, three less than rivals, Asante Kotoko.
