Afcon 2021Q: Ghana to host Sudan November 12

Thursday, November 12, 2020, has officially been confirmed as matchday for the Ghana vs Sudan home clash in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers.

It is the first tie of a doubleheader between the two countries who are jostling for the two slots in Group C of the qualification process.

The match will come off at 16:00 GMT at Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

The Black Stars, under new coach CK Akonnor, will be looking to continue their unblemished start to the qualifying process, after COVID-19 stopped them from a doubleheader tie with Sudan in March.

Competitive international football is back and Ghana is now scheduled to host Sudan at Cape Coast Stadium in the first of a doubleheader tie on Thursday, November 12.

Ghana won their opening two games in the Cameroon 2021 qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe in November last year.

Senegalese refereeing quartet, led by 34-year-old Maguette Ndiaye, would handle the match-day 3 fixture.
