2020/21 GPL: TMA to blame for Nana Ameyaw Park rejection – XI Wonders CEO

Eleven Wonders CEO, Albert Commey is blaming the Techiman Municipal Assembly (TMA) for the rejection of the Nana Ameyaw Park by the Club Licensing Board (CLB).

The Ghana Premier League side’s match venue will undergo another inspection after failing to impress the board.

Commey blames the District Assembly for their negligence concerning works at the stadium.

“It is the assembly that manages the park. We informed them to upgrade the facility ahead of the inspection but they didn’t.

“Now the Club Licensing Board has written to us and we are required to put the facility in shape before it can be approved by the GFA Club Licensing Board.

“The fine should have rather gone to the Assembly and not the club so that next time they will be proactive,” Commey told Happy FM.

On the team’s preparation for the league, the experienced football administrator stresses his side’s new additions.

“We are still preparing ahead of the season and we have made some signings to strengthen our side.”

“It’s our target to remain in the league and get a good finish,” Commey noted.

Eleven Wonders kick off the season with an away game against Asante Kotoko on Sunday, November 15.
