Ghana forward, Tahiru Awudu scored as CF Fuenlabrada kicked off their 2020/21 Spanish Segunda Division campaign with a 2-0 victory over CD Lugo Sunday.
The first half was end-to-end stuff with both sides failing to find the back of the net.
It took Awudu – the former Ghana U-20 attacker – to break the deadlock after 64 minutes of play.
Six minutes on, Frenchman Randy Nteka increased the tally for the hosts at Estadio Fernando Torres.
Tahiru Awudu, who is on loan from Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC, lasted 87 minutes in his league debut for CF Fuenlabrada.
