The superb return to action of Daniel Amartey for Leicester City in the English Premier League has seen him receive praises from several followers.
The central defender had been off the pitch for 23 months due to injury.
Leicester City’s 5-2 thumping of Manchester City had Amartey’s impact in defence.
In a five-man defence by coach Brendan Rodgers, the Ghanaian international played alongside Johnny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu.
Leading the commendations is Black Stars head coach Charles Akonnor who acknowledged Amartey’s fitness to football via Twitter:
Congratulations on your massive comeback @DanAmartey.
Wishing you more of today’s performance going forward.
Cheers https://t.co/GBeY6Y2Gqw

Earlier reports in England claimed Leicester City were in search of a new centre-back.
With the return of Amartey, Leicester might be okay with what they have in central defence.
