My output at Kotoko must encourage more women into football management – Dentaa Amoabeng MBE

Asante Kotoko Diaspora and International Relations Manager Dentaa Amoabeng MBE believes her success for the club must be enough to increase women involvement in football management.

The events organising expert is part of Nana Yaw Amponsah-led management that was introduced to the public on Tuesday.

Dentaa, speaking to Nhyira FM on Wednesday, asserted that excelling in her office will encourage more females to venture into football management.

“The way the world is going now; in everything you need female attraction.

“One of our goals is to ensure that Akua (Pokuaa Kwarteng) and I deliver. We are the only females on the team so there is a lot of pressure on us because you hardly see it.”

“We will make sure that we deliver our responsibilities better so we can attract those women who support football to come and be part of it and to showcase that football is for everyone, for kids, women, men and it brings everybody together.

“We are going to use our influence to make sure that diversity is brought on to Kotoko,” Dentaa concluded.

The popular TV show host will work closely with Commercial Manager Eric Amoako-Twum to make Kotoko an economically viable across the globe.
