One-time Ghana Premier League champions, Berekum Chelsea are set to acquire the services of Dreams FC midfielder James Wiafe on a season-long loan.
The Bibires have begun finalizing deals for some players that attracted their immense interest before COVID-19 struck in Ghana.
Wiafe has battled for game time in coach Winfred Dormon’s team at Dreams and was close to an exit before the break.
Now with a loan move to Berekum imminent, the midfielder will also battle it out with Jordan Opoku, Stephen Amankonah and Francis Twene.
A good spell at the Golden City outfit might get him a long stay, according to Chelsea’s management.
James Wiafe joined Dreams from Division One side Proud United in 2017.
He still has one year more in his agreement with the Dawu-based outfit.
