The second batch of the 70 players invited for the Black Satellites team will begin camping on September 5.
Head coach Abdul Karim Zito and his technical bench will access the new players before finalizing his squad for the Wafu Under-20 championship.
The squad will be divided into two groups before they undergo a mandatory COVID-19 test.
All other officials will also be tested for COVID-19 upon arrival at the camp base.
Handlers of the Black Satellites are undertaking the exercise to select a team for the Wafu-B Under-20 Afcon qualification tournament to be staged in Togo later this year.
The Black Satellites are still in search of success on the global stage since winning the World Cup in 2009. The Wafu Championship sets the path for another adventure as only the top two teams from the zonal competition will qualify for the Afcon to be staged in Mauritania in February next year. Four teams from the Afcon will represent Africa at the World Cup.
