Akua Pokuaa Kwarteng to head Asante Kotoko’s domestic legal affairs

Asante Kotoko have appointed Akua Pokuaa Kwarteng as Head of Domestic Legal affairs in the club’s new management team.

The appointment of the legal practitioner makes her the second female appointee after Dentaa Amoabeng MBE.

Akua is the Board Secretary of the National Sports Authority. She occupied a similar role at Metro TV between 2011 and 2014.

She has been the Head Chamber for Legal Ink in Kumasi since 2014.

As the Deputy Managing Counsel at the Kumasi office of the firm, she is the lead litigator on all recovery matters for banks and financial institutions in Kumasi.

The Porcupines new management structure creates two legal portfolios for the club; one in Ghana and an international legal brain.

Before Akua Pokuaa Kwarteng, Kotoko had Yaw Boafo and later Samuel Sarfo Duku as the previous heads of their legal department.

The management team are to ensure a smooth run of the club competitively on all scales.
