Kweku Andoh: Only a good offer can lure me back to Ghana league

Ex-Hearts of Oak defender, Kweku Andoh says he will consider a return to the Ghana Premier League (GPL) if any club tables a good offer.

Andoh, currently playing for Ethiopian club Dire Dawa City Sports club, admits that the Ghana league has quality players but is not financially rewarding.

“The Ghana Premier League has a lot of quality players but financially it is not sound.

“If any Ghanaian club comes with a good offer, I will consider returning to play in the GPL.

“I can’t rule out a return to the Ghana league because anything can happen in football.

“I don’t really have plans to return to the Ghana league but fate can decide otherwise,” Andoh told Adamu Muftawu.

After a short stint with Dedebit, he signed for another Ethiopian outfit Mekelle 70 Enderta where he won the 2018/19 Ethiopian Premier League.

Kweku Andoh played his juvenile and youth football with Holy Stars and Great Farcos in Accra.

He was signed on by Hearts of Lions before moves to Berekum Chelsea and Hearts of Oak.
