VIDEO: KP Boateng nets in dramatic Besiktas win

Ghana forward, Kevin-Prince Boateng rose from the bench to score as Besiktas snatched a come-from-behind 3-2 win over Kasimpasa on Thursday.

Determined to earn all three points in the home fixture at Vodafone Park, Besiktas took the lead within 6 minutes play through United States international Tyler Boyd.

Kasimpasa then replied with two goals in a space of 8 minutes.

Guinean international Bengali-Fode Koita pulled the equalizer in the 21st minute. He then put the visitors in the lead just before the half-hour mark.

Kevin-Prince Boateng would be introduced in the 37th minute but Kasimpasa ensured they took the 2-1 lead into recess.

Four minutes after the break, Jeremain Lens set up a predating Kevin-Prince Boateng to score and bring Besiktas back on level terms, 2-2.

Turkish forward Güven Yalcin then fetched a 90th-minute winner for Besiktas who will go 4th on the table with 53 points after 31 matches.

Besiktas are in a five-team race for the Turkish Super Lig’s two Europa League qualifying round berths, and the dramatic victory has put the ‘Black and Whites’ into one of them with three matches to play.
