Ghana’s senior women’s national team, the Black Queens responded to the opening day defeat in the 2020 Turkish Women’s Cup tournament with a 4-0 hammering of Northern Ireland B on Saturday.
A brace by Grace Asantewaa and a goal each from Princella Adubea and Beatrice Sesu did the damage for coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo’s side.
The heavy win sets the tone for a tasty final Group B game with fellow Africans Kenya on Tuesday, March 10.
