Fabin agrees one-year deal to coach Aduana Stars

Paa Kwasi Fabin has agreed in principle to become new head coach of two-time Ghanaian champions Aduana Stars.

The experienced trainer discussed terms of an initial two-year contract which comes with a year’s option to be signed early next week.

This was after the coach held talks with club owner Osagyefo Nana Agyeman Badu II in Accra before following up with a visit to Dormaa last Wednesday where he observed Aduana’s league victory over former club Asante Kotoko.

But Footy-Ghana.com can exclusively report that Fabin renegotiated the duration of the deal Friday afternoon and now settled on signing to a year’s contract following which both parties can decide on an extension or otherwise.

Fabin, who nearly took up the Great Olympics job last?week, has been linked with the role with the Fire Club since last year following the demise of former head coach Yusif Abubakar.

His arrival means Aduana Stars finally fulfill a Club Licensing mandatory requirement of having a Caf License A holder as head coach.

W.O Paul Tandoh has been in caretaker charge since the start of the 2019/20 season. Aduana are just a point adrift leaders AshantiGold after 11 matches in the Ghana Premier League.
