Coach Baba Nuhu Mallam and his travelling party landed at the Roberts International Airport shortly after 14:00 GMT Friday following a two-hour flight from Accra.

18 players, 9 technical team members and other GFA officers make up the Ghana contingent that embarked on the trip for the first leg encounter.

The Liberia-Ghana first round, first leg clash is set for the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia on March 1. Kickoff is at 16:00 GMT.

The reverse comes off a fortnight later.
