Yahaya Mohammed was on the scoresheet at home once more as holders Aduana Stars dispatched Legon Cities 2-0 on match-day 5 of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League Sunday.
Both goals came at the tail end of either half via set-pieces.
Striker Yahaya scored the opener and his sixth of the season – all at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park – from a free-kick right into first half time added on.
And with 8 minutes left on the clock, Cities goalkeeper Prosper Gbeku made a real hash of a free-kick by allowing Aduana midfielder Noah Martey’s not-so-threatening strike into his net.
Aduana Stars, by the 2-0 result, move to second position on 12 points from 5 games while Legon Cities continue their search for a first win after drawing three of their games so far.
