Liberty Professionals produced a resounding second-half performance to beat Ebusua Dwarfs 2-1 and bag their first three points of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League Wednesday.
Rudolf Mensah’s last-gasp strike made the difference for the Dansoman-based outfit. Having drawn all their previous matches in the league, the away victory is a remarkable feat for the Scientific Soccer lads.
From kickoff, both teams displayed exciting play patterns in midfield but could hardly complement their moves with any goal.
It was until the second forty-five minutes that Dwarfs broke the deadlock courtesy substitute Seidu Abubakar in the 69th minute.
Determined as Liberty were, the lead lasted for only four minutes as parity was restored through Alhassan Mubarak in the 73rd minute. The away side held the game well and demonstrated qualities of a side that yearned for a draw.
But Rudolf Mensah had attacking ideas. The young attacking sensation popped up to net the crucial winner for Liberty, placing the Crabs in more misery.
Full Time: Yes! That's the full time whistle. Our unbeaten run continues. Most importantly, a first win of the season….

The loss is Ebusua Dwarfs’ fourth in as many matches in the competition this season.
Total misery for the Cape-Coast side.
