WATCH: Official launch of the 2019/20 Ghana football season

Watch the launch of the 2019/20 Ghana football season being held at the Sports Hall of the Accra Stadium.

Gracing the occasion as Special Guest is Ghana’s Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Some dignitaries joining Kurt Okraku, the recently elected President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and his Executive Council include Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah, Board Chairman of the National Sports Authority, Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, Prof. Twumasi – the CEO of NSA among others.

The football season comprises five key competitions – the Ghana Premier League, Division One League, Women’s Professional League, MTN FA Cup and Sanford Women’s FA Cup.

The 2019/20 Ghana Premier League heralds the new season with kickoff set for the weekend of December 27-29.
