#FootyTransfers: Kwame Kizito joins Falkenberg FF till 2021

Ghana’s Kwame Kizito has joined Swedish top-tier side Falkenberg FF from rivals BK Häcken on a two-year contract.

The 23-year-old former Hearts of Oak striker signed with Häcken for the 2019 season earlier this year but had to wait until July for his Allsvenskan debut.

He went on to make 13 appearances while scoring three and making the same number of assists in the process.

Announcing his departure Monday, BK Häcken Sports Manager Sonny Karlsson revealed that Kizito largely struggled for starting berths due to competition.

“We have been open to Kizito leaving, we cannot have three players competing for a place,” Karlsson told the club’s website.

Kwame Kizito, who scored in BK Häcken’S 4-1 thrashing of Falkenberg back in September, signed until the end of the 2021 season.

He told his new club’s website: “I would like to thank coach Hasse Eklund for his confidence and sports manager Håkan Nilsson for the opportunity.”

“Playing in Falkenberg FF is a great opportunity and a great privilege for me to help the team meet their goals.”

“I know that FFF is an ambitious team with many talents. I will work hard to help the team achieve things,” Kizito added.
