Ghana midfielder Samul Bekoe is on the verge of joining Sierra Leonean top-flight side FC Johansen on a free transfer.
Bekoe became unattached following a decision by Inter Allies to not renew his contract which expired last week.
The 21-year-old had been one of the long-serving players of the Ghana Premier League side. He got promoted from the club’s feeder side Cedar Stars after the 2015/16 season and remained a first-team member for four more seasons.
Samuel Bekoe is expected to arrive in Sierra Leone over the weekend to complete his move.
FC Johansen is a Freetown-based club which was founded in 2004. The Sierra Leone Premier League side is run by FA president Isha Johansen and her Norwegian husband Arne Birger Johansen.
